Stephanie Phill is the Chief Operating Officer and Case Management Supervisor at A Caring Safe Place, Inc. With years of experience in nonprofit leadership and program management, she is dedicated to empowering vulnerable populations through housing, supportive services, and holistic care. Stephanie is passionate about building systems that foster accountability, compassion, and long-term stability for individuals overcoming substance use and systemic barriers while ensuring they have access to safe, supportive environments. Beyond her professional role, she is a devoted wife, proud mother, and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Katherine Barner is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. Her clinical background includes extensive work with individuals, couples, and families navigating grief, trauma, and emotional distress. She has served in a variety of clinical leadership roles, including providing crisis intervention for first responders, overseeing clinical programming in residential and outpatient recovery settings, and managing mental health and substance use services in nonprofit agencies. Katherine is certified in EMDR therapy and has additional credentials in Group and Individual Crisis Intervention (ICISF) as well as Anger Resolution Therapy. In her role as Clinical Director, she brings a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to client care, clinical supervision, and program development.
