Program Phases

Phase 1 - Initial Orientation/House Rules

Each program participant is provided with a one-on-one orientation with the designated program staff. Staff will discuss the application process, applicable forms, community and house rules, as well as program expectations.

Phase 2 - Assessment/Day Group

Each new resident receive individual assessments and participates in an initial daily entry group held on site.

Phase 3 - Life Skills Training

Each participant will participate in Life Skills Training. Life Skills Training is a client centered and client driven educational program which addresses areas of personal challenges such as: self-esteem, stress management, anger management, goal setting, dealing with disappointment, job search and retention, and developing resumes and interviewing skills.

Phase 4 - Job Search, Placement & Vocational Training

Each program participant will be advised to begin job search and/ or vocational training with the aid of the program staff. Participants will be linked with suitable training program and job openings.

Phase 5 - Preparation For Re-Entry Into Independent Living

An individualized independent living plan will be developed with each program participant. The individual program plan will establish goals, timelines, and detail necessary steps for independent living.
