A Caring Safe Place’s transitional housing services are provided in a therapeutic, yet in a home-like environment. Eligible participants are drug-free males with histories of substance abuse and at least 30 days of sobriety, with low to moderate incomes, who are at least 18 years of age and are living with a specific diagnosed chronic health conditions. Each individual must have a desire to live drug and alcohol free, while actively working to improve their present lives and their future. Residents may participate in the program for up to 24 months, while they receive case management services, and access other supportive services including but not limited to support groups, individual and group counseling sessions, day treatment services, and job training for those able to work.
Lydia’s Place Apartments offers fifteen furnished Single Room Occupancy (SRO) units. Eligible participants are drug-free males with histories of substance abuse and at least 9 months of sobriety, with low to moderate incomes, who are at least 18 years of age and are living with a specific diagnosed chronic health conditions. Supportive services include, but are not limited to case management, individual and group counseling, and peer support groups. Residents may reside at Lydia’s Place as long as they continue to meet eligibility guidelines and remain compliant with program rules and guidelines.
